Communications / Public Relations

Support Activa PR's client accounts with hands-on PR experience: using PR databases to research reporters and outlets, building targeted media lists, assisting with pitch development, supporting press release distribution, tracking media coverage, and supporting account management. Connect with team members across media relations, PR strategy, content, and social media.

Draft press materials, build media databases, review deliverables, draft social media copy (primarily LinkedIn), and potentially capture content. Hands-on with lots of on-the-job instruction. May attend virtual client meetings and learn to structure meeting notes capturing action items and next steps.

Work closely with Hatch team members on a wide range of client projects — from monitoring the news cycle to creating social content to coordinating events. Strength in writing and research, ability to juggle priorities, and a team-player attitude are key qualities.
