About the organization
Our breast health services, including mammograms and breast MRIs, help reduce patient risk for breast cancer and detect the smallest tumors when they’re more easily treatable. At Sutter, we use cutting-edge technology, such as breast MRI and 3D mammography, to detect breast abnormalities. Staying on top of screening mammograms is key to preventing advanced breast cancer. If patients are diagnosed with breast cancer, we use state-of-the-art treatments to remove or treat the cancer. We’re proud to have multiple Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence recognized by the American College of Radiology. We are one of the top 100 women’s health programs in the country, with over 400 care team members. We perform over 370K mammogram screenings across 60+ screening locations per year. The Notkin Family Breast Cancer Recovery Program at CPMC in San Francisco provides seamless support services to assist clients and their loved ones through a cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. Our program is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and offers a multidisciplinary team approach for personalized treatment. The team may include nurse navigators, psychologists, dietitians and licensed clinical social workers. https://www.sutterhealth.org/services/cancer-patient-navigators
