Dr. Sheena Kong Med Spa specializes in minimally invasive and non-invasive facial rejuvenation and body contouring treatments in downtown San Francisco. The practice offers a wide variety of procedures, including Botox, dermal fillers, lasers, Ultherapy, Coolsculpting, Emsculpt, as well as Smartlipo (laser assisted liposuction). Internship description
This Internship provides exposure to the field of medical aesthetics, focusing on clinical and business aspects. Observe Dr. Kong during consultations and treatments to develop a basic understanding of facial anatomy and how aesthetic procedures work. Learn the importance of HIPAA regulations and patient consent protocols in the medical field. Understand the role of clinical knowledge, branding, advertising, social media, customer service in the medical aesthetic industry, where treatments are often considered discretionary investments.
